Sagittarius Full Moon – 9th June

I don’t think it was any coincidence that the British General election has been set for the eve of the Sagittarius moon, as it is a good moon for change. With Jupiter, Sagittarius’s ruling planet and the planet of expansion, going direct on the same day, we are being urged to go beyond our comfort zone in order to create more self-expansion, awareness and healing.

Here are my 7 top tips to successfully surfing this FULL MOON WAVE

Lifting the Veil of Illusion
As the Moon has been waxing to full the veil is being ripped away and we are finally seeing the truth about certain issues and situations we have been in the dark about, both personally and collectively. This is enabling us to make more informed and clearer decisions that may be painful but are also liberating. Jupiter helps us to see the truth instead of blindly accepting what we are told. Over the next two weeks we have an opportunity to expand our vision, rather than stay stuck in a rut and in victim mode, feeling helpless and powerless.

Beyond the Comfort Zone
Use this Sagittarius moon to go beyond the fear (false expectations altering reality) and decide what world you want to create. Impossible is I’M POSSIBLE from another perspective. All we need to do is believe we can! I was once told, ‘If your vision doesn’t make you weep, it’s not big enough.’ So think BIG. Set your intention, and shoot your arrow as high as you dare.

Life is an Adventure

Sagittarius is the Moon for adventure, socialising, and reigniting the fun and laughter in your life. This moon encourages us to celebrate life and reminds us to see it as an adventure, rather than a burden. Under this moon things will seem more possible, and with a healthy dose of belief in our abilities, passion, and acknowledging how far we’ve come, we can enjoy the journey we are on much more.

Connect to your Animal Instinct
The sign of Sagittarius is represented by the “Centaur,” a mythical half-man/half-horse, that reminds us that humans are also both rational and intuitive. When we use both life flows effortlessly. The body of the horse represents the power we possess to manifest our dreams in the physical realm, and his bow and arrow is faced heaven ward. His message is to find the faith of the archer and trust that if you shoot towards the stars you may actually reach them. Sometimes we just don’t have all the pieces in place, or the higher perspective to see how it’s all going to happen. Trust your instinctive/intuitive nature, take right action, and go step by step towards your goals.

Perception and Intuition
Perception and intuition are the key words for Sagittarius, and on a full Moon they are double the strength and potency. This is the perfect time to listen to the prompting from your inner voice that is guiding you on the right path and connecting you to the right people. Work with the fire energy of the Gemini Sun, Jupiter and the Sagittarius full moon to re-inspire you.

Be Flexible
This moon may also be tinged with moments of fear and uncertainty. You may feel restless, stuck, and frustrated about a situation you have no control over, that has suddenly come to the surface. We can also be a bit tactless and insensitive creating unintended bad feeling, so make sure you think before you speak. We can also be blindly optimistic about a situation, so use your intuition before you act. The best way of flowing with this moon is to be willing to be as flexible as possible, and take opportunities as they arise in the moment, to transform the chaos into creativity.

Find Your Passion
This moon helps us to be more spontaneous, laugh more loudly, and have as much fun as possible. Make time to have an adventure, go into nature, and enjoy the summer. Stretch your imagination and intellect by taking a course, classes, or attending a talk or workshop on a subject that fascinates and excites you.  Use this Moon to find your passion and joy, and let the summer become one long adventure….

I will end this Lunascope with the wise words of Joseph Campbell:
Follow your bliss. If you do follow your bliss, you put yourself on a kind of track that has been there all the while waiting for you, and the life you ought to be living is the one you are living. When you can see that, you begin to meet people who are in the field of your bliss, and they open the doors to you. I say, follow your bliss and don’t be afraid, and doors will open where you didn’t know they were going to be. If you follow your bliss, doors will open for you that wouldn’t have opened for anyone else.
