The 5 Central Tenets of Living Shamanically

During the last two thousand years, we have lost touch with our relationship with the ‘Anima Mundi’  (Spirit of the world), and our divine and special connection to nature.

Instead, we have manipulated our natural environment to serve our needs. We became more left brain, logical, systematic, practical, and scientific. We became egotistical and dominating, with no regard to what we were doing to our ecosystem. This disconnection from nature, and the environmental consequences we now face, are causing extreme and unprecedented levels of depression, stress and anxiety, as we wake up to the impact that our negative actions, and all living things that share it with us.

As we face possible extinction, our environmental crisis is creating a new awareness. It is sparking an internal process within each one of us, and giving us the opportunity to evolve to a different state of consciousness. It is giving us the choice to shift from individualism and separation, to Unity consciousness, and adopt a new value system that encompasses all living things.

Humanity is at a crossroads, and we each have the choice, whether to change, or remain in this current destructive paradigm. When we transform from separation consciousness, to unity consciousness, we automatically reconnect to nature, and live more symbiotically with the natural world. We also start making the right choices that will leave our planet healthy for future generations, which is our duty, as their ancestors.

It is going to take a shift in consciousness, and a value system reset, to bring humanity and the planet back into balance. Living Shamanically is living in unity consciousness, and igniting this next step in humanity’s evolution.

My 5 Central Tenets of Living Shamanically:

1.     Living Shamanically is a way of being in the world.

Our principles, morals and values love, honour and respect all living things that share this planet with us.

2.     We are a part of, and not apart from Nature.

We are an equal part of this delicate web of life.

3.     We honour Mother Earth.

What we do to ourselves, we are doing to the Earth, and what we do to the Earth, we are doing to ourselves.

4.     We are the ancestors of our future generations.

It is our duty to bring the planet back into balance for the next seven generations.

5.     There are no rules or commandments.

Our right actions naturally reflect Unity Consciousness.

For the first time in history every human has a unique part to play in the unfolding human story.

Each one of us must make a choice; Are we a part of nature, or are we apart from it?

Are we part of the cure, or are we part of the dis-ease?
